This problem is due to the general structure of the web itself. I like the idea of blogs like this that will actually discuss topics that people rarely understand.

We enjoy trying to be as sustainable as possible in all of the areas of our lives and I think its in our Southwest Wisconsin culture.

You should go to http://www.mdconstructionllc.com to read a continuous blog about using Green when constructing a new home. The author is doing a bi-weekly? entry going through all of the steps to use when building Green. He started with site selection, and is just working through the opportunities one step at a time. It is a site for MD Construction, but in the blog he is NOT trying to sell anything, just telling you the facts to use with your builder when you build. It is pretty interesting, and he’s got a ways to go to be complete. Check it out.

We are planning on expanding into Solar Power. We went to the 2008 Solar Power convention in San Diego this past October. We learned far more information from the convention then we did on building sites. The reason is it is a competitive field and building sites, naturally, aren’t going to divulge all of their trade secrets, no should they.
